Hello,hello,my hosts: i am Lawrence from BEIJING but i am studying in SHANGHAi now.First of all i want to say i miss you so much(how much?the moon stands for it) Where to start with?i am a little bit excited writing to you,i have never done that before.( i even did not write to ask for a dancing ticket in BEIJING) OH,oh,back to the subject,NMT was really a fantastic programme,it was my very first lesson to get touch with POP music,until now,i have many records of it.It realls my depression and excitement,i even take some to SHANGHAI to regain that feeling.But,but,it stopped 2 year ago,at that time i was preparing for the college entrance exam,with nothing accompany,what was a pity. Maggie and Brian: I've never tried to get in touch with any host of program. But when I've visited your website,I just can't help senting you a message to tell you my feeling about your website. It suprised me greatly when I first saw your studio.I always thought it was in a clossal, modern building. It's really different! I can imagined your relax life in scotland, and I admire it. But I still wonder what you do when you are not making a program. Could you describe your life in scotland. I can't not connect your program which is full of POP music with your countryside wooden studio which looks somewhat shabby externally. How strange that you should think that a Radio Programme needs to be recorded in a big building. What would the building be for and how much money would it cost?

What do you NEED to make a Radio Programme? Someone to talk and a microphone. Music and a CD player and something to record it on.

We record onto a Macintosh computer and you can build a studio for around US$ 3000.

In fact as you already have a computer you can use IT as a studio. All you need is a good microphone.

Broadcasting has NOTHING to do with big buildings. ONE person and a computer can do it ALL.

And..... Here in Scotland in what you call the COUNTRYSIDE we have a high speed ISDN digital telephone line and we are 15 minutes from an AIRPORT!!!!! We are also 20 minutes drive from our local DHL office!!
